Over her 17-year career, Nicole (Velotta) Chaffin has held various sales and leadership roles. She is a passionate storyteller, brand builder and sales leader at the intersection of community, culture and category.
She is known for shaping customer engagement through elevated sales and brand strategy, strong team building, cross-functional leadership and innovative programming. She is a strong leader of high-performing teams and known for building powerful retailer, supplier and distributor relationships that translate into measurable growth.
Her appreciation and passion for the adult beverage industry came at an early age growing up in a large Italian family as she worked alongside her father in the winemaking and creative labeling process. She was deeply influenced by the relationships she witnessed being built about the table with cultures and stories shared across food and homemade wine.

Across her career, Nicole has led national strategy and P&L for a $1.8B national retail business, driven growth through innovative go-to-market initiatives, driven strategic partnerships and high-impact customer engagement programs. She developed and executed a private label strategy and rebrand that generated $10M in sales and increased new wine households by +2.9% in its first year. During her supplier tenure, she was recognized as an award-winning sales leader back to back years (KAM and NAM of the Year) and was a member of a top-performing national sales team. She has also led regional real estate sales teams, responsible for regional sales training, and conducted market research for a marketing firm. Nicole is a passionate people leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams, developing future leaders, and delivering results through collaboration across suppliers, distributors and retail partners.
